Kevin
T. Shea, Managing Director
Kevin
has more than 20 years of experience in crisis management,
business restructurings, corporate finance and M+A – with
a particular emphasis on complex, highly dynamic, managerially
and operationally challenging situations. Kevin’s
industry experience includes companies in broadcasting, publishing,
automotive aftermarket parts manufacturing and distribution,
motorcycle aftermarket parts distribution, consumer products
(manufacturing + contract filling), telecommunications, call
centers/business process outsourcing and plastic injection
molding.
During
the past two years, as the broadcast and print media sectors
have experienced tremendous upheaval due to unprecedented
declines in advertising revenues, Kevin has led the LM+Co
Media and Telecommunications team in many high-profile cases.
He currently serves as Chief Restructuring Officer and is
a Director of New Young Broadcasting. Other media engagements
have included: Young Broadcasting - financial advisor
to the Senior Lenders; New Vision Television - financial advisor
to the Senior Lenders; Freedom Communications - financial
advisor to Senior Lenders; Pappas Telecasting - Chief Restructuring
Officer; Pamal Broadcasting - restructuring advisor to the
company; Thompson Publishing Group - restructuring advisor
to the company; financial advisor to the senior lenders to
a publicly traded multi-media company; financial advisor to
owners of a professional sports franchise and diversified
media company.
Past
engagements outside the media sector include: CRO for an international
aftermarket parts distributor; Interim CFO for an international
contract filler of consumer products; Interim CFO for a water
products manufacturer; Interim CFO, M&A advisor to the
board of directors and Chief Wind-Down Officer for a domestic
BPO/call center; and, Head of M&A and business development
for a pan-European telecom operator.
Kevin
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from
Marquette University and has studied bankruptcies and reorganizations
thru the New York University School of Law.
