Dick has close to 40 years experience leading a wide range of process and product development programs. Dick was formerly with Booz Allen Hamilton as a program director with the firm’s Operations Practice. In his 31 years with Booz Allen, Dick was integral in product and process development, as well as leading operations assessment programs for a wide variety of industries, including food processing, consumer products, automotive, aerospace, office and information products, defense and general manufacturing. Dick combines his diverse consulting experience to provide clients with solutions to product/process design and configuration issues based on his collective experience in:

Operations Improvement/Cost Reduction – Diagnostics followed by plant reconfiguration/technology development and implementation across a diverse array of industrial and consumer product sectors

Logistics Improvement – Diagnostics followed by operations, improvement programs, including: DC consolidation, carrier consolidation, product-to-plant redeployment, customer-to-plant reassignment and load consolidation

Facility diligence/acquisition assessments for food and industrial sectors

Manufacturing assessments and implementations in diverse industry sectors, including automotive, aircraft, industrial and electronics

Product Development -- Concept through production start-up for both consumer and industrial products
Product Teardowns/Design Assessments - DFM/DFA, reliability and cost reduction in the electronics, automotive, consumer and industrial sectors

Innovative Production equipment process management from concepting, design and development through start-up

Dick received his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His work at Cleveland State University was concentrated in machine design. Dick has 12 patents issued for his innovative work in product and process development .
