Thomas E. Pernsteiner, Managing Director
Tom
has 20 years of restructuring and performance improvement
experience. He specializes in devising value maximizing strategies
based on a thorough understanding of industry fundamentals,
and in negotiating complex capital restructurings both inside
and outside of bankruptcy. Prior to joining LM+Co , Tom was
a partner in Booz Allen Hamilton’s automotive and strategy
practices, where he helped Global Fortune 500 companies improve
their market, competitive and financial performance.
Tom
has worked with a wide range of companies in both North America
and Europe. He has substantial expertise in the automotive
and building products sectors. Tom’s industry experience includes:
agriculture, apparel, capital equipment, consumer goods, financial
services, media, process industries and retail. Recent restructuring
engagements include: Anvil Knitwear, Atrium Windows, Champion
Homebuilders, Delphi, Electrical Connectors International,
Foamex, International Bakery, Masonite and Werner Ladder.
Tom
earned his MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).
